Starting Point

Before we knew, we were a match made to be forever. It started in 3rd grade.....he was my penpal for a whole year and I met my life love at the end of the year. We ended our letters and it made me sad. Our road ended until high school I met Zach again and became a best friend. We dated throughout high school and became closer then ever planned. He headed off to Pocatello to continue his education. I talked and visited him when he came home for holidays. I was getting ready to take off to Colorado for college and we then decided we couldn't leave our beginning to an end. He proposed dancing under the stars to our song on May 21st 2003. My life was complete to marry my friend and love on August 9th 2003. We have had a trip of a lifetime; laughter, tears, running, walking. A trip to an endless time of fun.

Christmas 2010

What a wonderful Christmas season. Family was all here and friends were very busy, Zachery and I started our day at 6:30 in the morning to be with our Ri-man! He was so very cute to come down the stairs in his new robe and pj's excited to see what Santa left him. The rest of our Davis family joined us for breakfast that Trish made; it was like eating at a 5 star hotel!!! Then we had to head off to my mom and dad's for Prime Rib!!! All of my family was there and we had a great time playing games and watching Christmas story. all in all I've realized how loved and blessed Zach and I are to have such wonderful family and friends at these special times of the year. Zach was so sweet to buy me a gift on top of what we got together as our gift. He suprised me the night, what a sweet husband and friend. I'm so excited, Mike and Christy made me a saddle stand with my name and a steel rose on it! it is so beautiful! I'm excited for me and Brandi to start riding in the arena this winter and waiting for spring to start back in the mountains!

Evelynn Alice Davis

Our little Angel Evelynn Alice Davis made it! 6lbs. 13oz. 21 inches long born August 26th 2014 at 4:35pm. Labor was a breeze and we are just so excited to have our first little one finally here. What a blessing to our lives. Zach is already smitten with her little sounds and cuddling. God has given us a true blessing, our little miracle.

A little minion

Our wonderful blessing is arriving in August and we couldn't be more excited to get her here!

Missing you so

Grandma Pat, a very special person in our family has became our guardian angel. The sweetest, giving and most loving person anyone could ask for in our lives. Her last words to me were that she was so sad she could not be with me to meet our baby on the way. I smiled and told her that she would be the first one to hug and love on it in heaven before we met the new baby. My heart aches with sadness that her sweet soul will no longer be here in person, but I love to feel that spirit embraces our hurting family at this time of need. Missing her everyday and wait for the moment to hug her once again. We love you grandma.

Berry-licious

I finally found choke cherries that were not out of reach! Loads and loads of them and i have a ancient recipe that is amazing. Once the word was out I had people out of the wood works calling me. It was great to make this old recipe with my grandma, it brought back so many old memories of making this long ago.

Concerts

This year was full of traveling to see great performers, Tim McGraw,  Brantley Gilbert, Trace Atkins, Chris Young. I am blessed with family and friends that can travel with me to play all year!

10 years of marriage

The phrase "time flies" is an under statement of this passing 10 years. Being married is no easy task, and certainly not always a fun time. With that said I have enjoyed being married to my best friend and truly the love of my life. We have been to hell and back together, wouldn't change it for the world. We have grown so much from being so young and New to life, achieving our goals together makes it a tight bond for those tough times when most want to give up. I love you Zach Davis forever and always.

Christmas 2013

I have to say this year was a hard one to find the christmas spirit. The year buzzed by so quickly and all my plans just didn't happen. I was apprehensive to even put up a tree until we went out to get one. Finally I found that little glimmer in my heart to ignite and burst through with red and green!

Halloween 2013

Halloween this year was very exhausting since at work we decided to build our costumes and we had a party at mom and dads house. It is always fun to get together eat tons of food and laugh with good friends and family.

Summer time hunting

Hunting is one of our favorite past time and we go every weekend during hunting season. I always find myself gazing and daydreaming at the beautiful scenery we walk by while going to find our food for the year. I wish I could stop time and sit down to hold in my heart and remember how blessed I am in my life and relationships.

Washinton 2013

A long drive and long hours of packing Joanne to come back to idaho. Never saw myself loading up for a weeks trip with my in-laws in my future, but that why I love the future its unpredictable. It rained every single day we drove and packed there, Oregon was a ugly desert of a place. I was very sad that we couldn't go into Washington but settled for the coast and it was cold and rainy, nothing like California.

Family summer

With the heat and great outdoor activities idaho offers, we have decided to take action and enjoy them. Fourwheeling, camping and fishing is my favorites!

Blessings

Visiting my extended Crapo family this weekend was very emotional for me, I have not been together with them in so many years. Not only having great memories made but my heart breaks for them at this trying time. Judd is progressing so much and it reminds me of my father's accident and pushes my mind to the worries, the tears, the confusion and hope I once felt. It hurts to see them go through that same roller coaster ride. The hospital was so busy, but the calmness in Judd's room was spiritually peaceful. The outside world seemed to pause in time. I may not practice an organized religion but I believe more than ever that God gives us such peace when most needed. My blessings go out to this dear family in need.

12 months for a new me

Well I finally went to a specialist to get my tmj in check. Dr. Romriell in pocatello of the TMJ and sleep center, has found that my jaw is bent into "c's" at the end where it connects into the skull and is the cause of all my neck, mouth, face, back pain. Apparently my head gear as a child created large oroblems while my bones were still soft. He does a procedure where my jaw is pressed back into socket and i have to not close my jaw all the way with mouth pieces. So after 3 weeks of appointments I have finally got my mouth pieces that will be worn 24/7.... so a liquid diet will be my meals until i can chew which my birthday present the ninja will come in handy, and brushing my teeth alot will be very interesting! My jaw is now put back in its socket and I no longer have headaches, migraines, mouth pain, neck pain, back pain, and I can breathed better! Well worth the time and money. So here it goes, and cant wait for a pain free life!

Suprise Party

Christy and Becky have close birthdays so we planned a surprise party. We had so much fun and a late night at Wal-Mart and Albertsons. Sun glass montage to wrap it all up and a party was born. The nephews are a hard competition for catch phrase.... but of course the girls kicked butt! Brandi and Trish made a delicious fruit pizza and sandwiches and a blueRasberry jello cake. I am blessed with extended family and couldn't ask for better sisters and mom and dad-inlaw.

Ready for spring

It has been a long winter and I'm very ready for a warm day. A lot of indoors I feel is wearing on nerves and attitudes.
